It's my Party and I'll live if I want to!

For some reason, i keep getting 1000 different 'Event Invites' on Facebook, all of which have to do with 2013. 'Will you be attending 2013?' and so on. The thing is, the 'End of the World' would be December 21, 2012(so they say...). That would mean that I should be attending December 22, 2012(which i will be! I can't miss my own birthday, i mean really!) which i am almost certain comes before the year 2013! Maybe I am wrong!

Plus, the world can't end on December 21, 2012! 'Why?' you might ask? Well because I heard from a 'Zombie Expert' that in the year 2014, we will have a zombie apocalypse(now this one...i think this one is real! haha!)

If you couldn't tell, i don't much believe the world will end, at least not in my lifetime. I have a hard time believing God would give us the knowledge to do what all we have done just to take it all away in one fell swoop.

I know i will get someone telling me i am wrong, which is fine, we are all entitled to our opinions. I don't think i am right, I just wont believe anything until it actually happens! That is the way I have always been! So because I don't think the World will end on December 21, 2012, but I don't know for sure, I will keep thinking that I will live to see my 24th birthday!

So, this is me inviting you to December 22, 2012! Will You be attending?!

Until Next Time!

Memories that will last a lifetime

I still remember going up to Arkansas a few years ago to visit Jeffrey's family. We spent the majority of our time there with his Aunt Sissy.

Upon meeting her, i knew we would be great friends. Everything about her just made you and everyone around you, smile. She was fun, loving, caring, and she was just all around a great person!

Jeffrey, Sissy and myself spent a day going through Arkansas. Sissy served as our tour guide! We went to Eureka Spings where she shown us the Haunted Crescent Hotel, the large statue of Jesus and we went through a little museum. Then we went to Beaver Dam to do a little bit of fishing and swimming.
After that we went to some ruins that were flooded. I can't remember the name of them, but while walking along the shore of the area, Sissy picked up a little rock with a hole in it and said that it was a friendship rock and then handed it to me! I smiled and we went back to walking. Then I spotted a rock with a hole in it! I was so excited that i too would get to return the 'friendship' with a rock! I had never heard of such a thing and thought it was so neat!

Well, Sissy failed to mention that the rock was supposed to be small enough to put on a necklace! I handed her a rock that was about the size of a soda can! We laughed for a few minutes after she explained how it worked! She then said she would put the rock in her garden!(I mean, it would be rather heavy to wear on your neck!). lol

Jeffrey then found a heart Shaped rock and we decided to throw it into the lake and make a wish upon it. Just as soon as we threw it, Sissy said 'How about I put it in my gar... *CURPLUNK*(that was the rock landing in the water)...Oh sure, you throw a perfectly good 'Heart-Shaped' rock into the water and i am stuck with this huge friendship rock!'

We all laughed!

I will never forget that Summer!

Sissy had a way of leaving a beautiful impression on everyone's heart and giving us wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

We will never forget you Sissy. You were an amazing woman. We all love you very much.

In loving Memory of Cecilia 'Sissy' Evans. October 3rd, 1960 -  June 10, 2011.
May you Rest in Peace.
